Description:
As the Indirect Procurement Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of indirect goods and services essential to our operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services across various categories, including Facilities Management (FM), Capital Expenditures (CAPEX), Packaging, Maintenance, Technology, Repair, and Operations (MRO), Utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for indirect categories, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supplier relationship management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure a diverse and competitive supply base
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to optimise terms and conditions while minimising risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and align procurement activities with business objectives
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on procurement performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and risk management
Qualifications:
