In House Litigation Solicitor

We are seeking a talented and experienced In-House Litigation Lawyer to join the legal team of a well known business in the North East. If you are a proactive and detail-oriented legal professional with a passion for litigation, this role would be ideal for you.

You will play a critical role in managing a varied caseload of legal affairs, focusing primarily on litigation matters. You will work closely with other members of the legal team and other departments.

Your responsibilities will include, handling a broad spectrum of litigation cases, including contractual disputes, employment matters, and regulatory issues, drafting legal documents, pleadings, and contracts. Conducting legal research to provide effective advice and strategy. Managing and overseeing all aspects of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial phases.

The Candidate

• Qualified Commercial Litigator with 5 years post qualification experience
• Experience of range of general commercial disputes
• Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development
• Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
• Excellent organisation and management skills
