Import Merchandiser

Description:

My client offers design, sourcing and the supply of lifestyle apparel to the sports merchandise and high street sectors. They are going though a period of growth and are looking to recruit an Import Merchandiser to join the team

Duties include:

• Raising and placing purchase orders with suppliers.
• Managing the critical path process from order placement through to delivery.
• Daily contact and communication with factories and customers.
• Liaising with freight forwarder about the import documentation and arranging delivery to customers warehouse
• Inputting sales orders into the system and communicating with the customers about delivery and product information.
• Ensuring test reports are requested according to customer requirements.
• Measuring / checking all fit / PP samples and sending all relevant comments to the factories.

Skills Required:

• Conscientious and hard working
• Proficient in Microsoft, especially Excel
• Superb eye for detail.
• Confident problem solver who can identify potential issues before they arise.
