Description:
We are seeking a People and Culture Partner to work closely with the Director of People and Culture and business stakeholders to implement the people strategy for designated departments.
This generalist role offers exposure to all aspects of HR, with the opportunity to lead multiple people initiatives and projects. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week in the office and the rest working remotely, paying up to £45k (some flexibility DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted partner for designated areas, regularly engaging with business stakeholders to understand priorities, identify emerging issues, and offer proactive support.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with both internal and external customers, delivering excellent HR services.
- Provide professional advice and guidance on employee relations matters, supporting managers and maintaining positive union relations.
- Produce quarterly and annual HR reports, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations.
- Support the People and Culture Coordinator in managing the employee lifecycle, performance, and development, overseeing payroll accuracy, and improving HR processes.
- Advise on recruitment strategies, ensure compliance, manage campaigns, and represent HR in job evaluations.
- Review and update people-related policies, ensuring compliance with organisational values and legal requirements. Provide advice and training on policies, GDPR, and recruitment.
- Collaborate within the People and Culture team to foster a positive environment and line manage the Coordinator, setting and monitoring objectives aligned with organisational goals.
- Work on various projects with the Director of People and Culture, including system implementations, benefits analysis, and DE&I initiatives.
- Proactively identify and enhance operational and cultural areas, supporting equality, diversity, and inclusion efforts, and contribute to the organisation's safeguarding policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified with strong HR partnering experience in medium-sized organisations.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and experience with different contractual relationships.
- Ability to articulate complex HR matters to varied audiences with a solution-focused approach.
- Experience with ADP and other HR systems is desirable, as the organisation is undergoing a digital transformation, and this role will be integral in leading process and system improvements.
