Hse Compliance Officer

Description:

The Compliance Officer ensures Opsec’s UK sites comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and company HSSE policies relating to Health, Safety, Security and Environmental activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong IT skills using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excel skills to include table creation, charts and basic functions to analyse data
• Knowledge of Security Standards
• Ability to work accurately paying close attention to detail
• Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise
• Ability to multi task and to work autonomously as well as in a team environment

Required Education and Experience

• 5 years’ experience in a HSSE roles, with facilities management desirable
• experience and understanding of ISO14001 and ISO45001
• Qualified Internal Auditor (ISO14001 & ISO45001)
• Experience completing Health and Safety Risk Assessment
