Description:

Oundle School is seeking an Administrator to join their dynamic and professional HR team. Reporting to the HR Business Partner (Compliance), you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the HR department operates smoothly. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks, making it a perfect fit for someone who enjoys a busy and fast-paced environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Handling general incoming enquiries: You will be the first point of contact for the HR department, addressing inquiries professionally and efficiently.

  • Supporting written correspondence: Assisting the HR team in issuing letters, forms, and other necessary documentation.

  • Championing GDPR compliance: Working with the team to ensure proper records management and adhering to GDPR guidelines. This includes ensuring appropriate filing and archiving practices are followed.

  • On-boarding and recruitment support: You will provide basic support to the recruitment function and assist in the organization of staff inductions for new employees.

The role will demand flexibility, as each day will present new challenges. You will be tasked with handling varied administrative duties and managing a constantly changing to-do list, requiring you to be highly organized and adaptable. With your first-class administrative skills, you will handle highly detailed tasks accurately, particularly using MS Office applications like Excel.

What We Are Looking For:

Working Hours and Contract Details:

  • Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The specific hours will be agreed with the successful candidate, but a visible presence in the School is required.

  • Contract: Permanent

  • Salary: Up to £28,000 (FTE) depending on experience.
