Description:

Albright Education Centre seeks a motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join its progressive and vibrant learning community. The successful candidate will support pupils who face medical, psychological, or psychiatric difficulties, ensuring a continuation of education and overcoming barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to pupils and potentially their families.
  • Collaborate with professionals to meet pupils’ educational and emotional needs.
  • Engage and inspire pupils through tailored support strategies.
  • Attend safeguarding and other relevant meetings.
  • Foster strong communication between parents, carers, teachers, and external agencies.

  • Effective communicator with the ability to inspire and engage pupils.

Requirements:

  • Ability to speak fluent English (essential under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016).
  • Full enhanced DBS clearance required before taking up the position.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and protecting pupils.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time, 37 hours per week, term-time plus five training days.
