Rikama Education is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive educational environment in Greenwich. This is a long-term, full-time role with potential to become permanent, ideal for someone committed to making a positive impact on the academic and personal development of children, especially those with special educational needs (SEN).
As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting individual students and small groups, particularly SEN learners, through tailored lessons, personal care, and behavioral support. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to help students integrate and thrive in the classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted support and interventions to students, especially those with SEN
Assist in planning and executing individualized lesson plans
Manage classroom behavior and support a positive learning atmosphere
Provide feedback and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to foster student success
Support children with personal care where necessary
Promote the school’s values and inclusive ethos
