Description:
This role will have line management responsibility of the Project Management Office and the Creative Design Function for the Computershare Communication Services business (UK, DE, SA). It will also contribute to the successful management of any relevant third-party suppliers.
Responsibilities
Primary accountabilities include:
- Deliver insight Enable the businesses to organise and manage their projects as an integrated portfolio and to communicate the business value of the portfolio. Provide support for effective and timely Executive decision making.
- Increase efficiency Optimise and prioritise projects based on objectives, costs, resources, and risks to ensure the business obtains the maximum potential value from the available resources.
- Improve effectiveness Continuous improvement of business processes to ensure projects are delivered in a correct, consistent, and timely manner.
- Execute governance Provide leadership, organisational structure, policy, standards, and processes that ensure projects comply with best practices in line with business strategies, objectives and required financial outcomes.
- Provide Innovation Applies their creative knowledge, and design skills and experience, to identify and meet the needs of clients and stakeholders. They are responsible for the overall creative output, ensuring the creative team produces high-quality, innovative communications that are aligned with the client goals and objectives. This includes overseeing the execution of deliverables, meeting deadlines, negotiating timelines when needed, and managing expectations of stakeholders.
The key responsibilities include: -
- Support the strategic, people and commercial goals for the UCIA region and help set a clear vision and strategic plan for the local team.
- Communicate and embody the global strategic priorities.
- Deliver strong, pro-active, and visible leadership working alongside the regional MD. This includes active participation in the executive team and interaction with global peers.

What will you bring to the role?
- Acquired knowledge of business models, products, platforms, business functions and organisational capabilities across Computershare Communication Services and Verticals.
- Deep knowledge and experience of running Portfolio and Demand Management / PMO functions, applications, and business / technical methodologies. Minimum of 10 years in leadership positions, managing programme delivery / transformation functions, reporting to CEO or business unit heads.
- Extensive experience leading large transformation programmes and functions. Experience of engagement with c-suite and CEO stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of technology/platform/software delivery. Strong awareness of the interdependency between teams and applications. Ability to work independently or as part of a dynamic, cross-functional team in a rapidly changing environment. Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and work streams and deliver quality results on time. Ability to prioritise/re-prioritise and have highly developed adaptability & flexibility while remaining calm; thrives under pressure.
- Experience creating teams and transforming functions. Ability to manage professionals and other managers. The PMO and Design Functions report into this role.
