This new role is pivotal in an exciting new revenue management and trading team within AGS Commercial and will be instrumental in our ambitious plans to grow car park other commercial product yield to market leading levels, across our three airports.

Responsible for the delivery of ambitious car parking budget, through optimal revenue management and trading strategy implementation, the role will require expertise in a high volume, high demand, revenue management environment.

Using the Aeroparker platform to implement sophisticated, aglie trading strategies, and working alongside the Group Commercial Analyst to determine the effectiveness of these an inquisitive mind and problem solving ability is essential.

The role will be highly dynamic, you must be able to create, monitor and evaluate long term strategy, alongside proactively trading the short lead window. Understanding the wider commercial landscape, you will manage the interplay between car park pricing and off-site competitors, profitability of our own products, and also take in to account the impact of car park pricing on taxi / roll up and the forecourt.

Using data from both Power BI and Excel reporting you will analyse booking curves and pace reportds highlight risks and plan mitigating actions in pre-book income, also identify, and maximise opportunities for growth. Alongside the pre-book car parks, you will also be responsible for delivering roll up, and Pick Up/Drop Off income.

Alongside with the Head of Commercial Product, E-commerce and marketing teams you will be steering the distribution and channel strategy to deliver maximum income and profit.

 

Principle accountabilities

  • Delivery of car parking income budget - £30m+ 2024
  • Review current pricing structure and implement changes
  • Managing the mix and length of stay within products to keep operational costs under control
  • Reporting on trading performance within the Commercial team and Senior Stakeholders
  • Work with e-commerce team to maximise direct sales

 

Qualifications and experience

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a high volume revenue management environment
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Aeroparker or other booking engines
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and website analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

 

Specific Experience:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a Revenue Management environment
  • Experience of working in an airport environment preferable but not essential
  • Strong financial background
  • To be able to present complex strategy and results to Senior Management in a clear and concise format
  • Deep understanding of pricing strategies and revenue management principles.
