Moat Homes, one of England’s top 30 housing associations, is seeking a Head of Strategy and Policy to lead corporate strategy development, policy alignment, and high-level decision-making. This key leadership role requires strategic thinking, policy expertise, and strong stakeholder engagement skills to shape the organization's future direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and drive corporate strategy aligned with organizational goals.
    • Ensure policies reflect internal priorities and external regulatory changes.
    • Provide expert strategic advice to the Board and Executive Team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Decision-Making:

    • Collaborate with senior leaders and external partners to shape policy decisions.
    • Analyze and interpret complex data to inform decision-making.
    • Influence policy at a sector level, ensuring Moat remains a leader in housing strategy.
  • Policy Development & Implementation:

    • Ensure compliance with evolving sector regulations and government policies.
    • Monitor industry trends and emerging challenges in housing policy.
    • Lead initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven experience in strategic planning and policy development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in housing, government policy, or a similar sector is advantageous.
