Head Of Software Delivery

Description:

We are working with one of the largest retail distribution businesses in the UK who are going through a major technology transformation. They have partnered with a number of external 3rd party offshore consultancies to support them, and are now looking for a Head of Software Delivery to manage this.

The Head of Software Delivery will:

• Manage all the relationships with multiple 3rd party offshore partners
• Manage 4-6 core platforms for the business across web, integrations, devices and more
• Implement product-based agile methodology
• Implement best practices, ways of working, create a strong culture, establish engineering standards.
• Matrix manage software, platform owners, delivery managers, agile leads, PM's/BA's
• Lead engineering strategy through a mix of 3rd party, internal and delivery partners

We are looking for someone who has:

• Vast experience across software delivery, perhaps in a number of industries
• Working on complex delivery, multi-line/multi-product
• Experience managing, internal, external 3rd party partners
• Experience in transformation, moving from legacy to cloud systems, CI/CD, DevOps
• Experience managing teams of 100+
• Experience managing large budgets across software technology delivery
