Make your mark, shaping this exciting brand-new role of Head of Regulatory Compliance for Corporate Governance & Risk services at Home Group. Through outstanding compliance expertise and focus, you’ll lead our Corporate Regulatory Compliance requirements across the organisation making sure we stay compliant and operate within the regulations set.

You’ll share knowledge, best practice, provide data and insights to drive a culture of compliance enabling the company to run smoothly and responsibly, keeping both the organisation and our colleague secure.

Typical day as Head of Regulatory Compliance (Corporate Governance & Risk)
 

• Regular checks are thoroughly carried out ensuring all regulatory filings are made on time and to a great standard.
• Ensuring the successful management of the Regulatory Returns Register and Policy Governance Frameworks
• Oversight and reporting of regulatory change across Home Group
• Horizon scanning to keep up to date with changing regulations driving the implementation of necessary adjustments.
• Leading and overseeing interactions with our regulators ensuring the management of additional responses on regulatory assessments and inspections
• Preparation of Governance Assurance Statements flexing your Governance and Risk Management experience
• Leading supercharged teams to deliver on key Regulatory Compliance objectives and influencing an organisational culture of accountability in Regulation & Compliance

You’ll be part of our Home Group Business Management Team who are a really great bunch of supportive peers, you’ll meet with them regularly to drive operational performance and also ensure we have a collaborative and collegiate approach in leading our teams. You’ll have
 

• Confidence and working knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures required within the social housing sector in England and Scotland including inspection frameworks such as IDA, and IDA readiness.
• Demonstrable track record in delivering excellent governance and compliance practises in a complex and highly regulated environment.
• A track record in delivering results in a fast-moving organisation, prioritising your and your teams focus in an ever changing and uncertain landscape
• Strong ability to innovate, engage, improve and transform to drive regulatory excellence.
• You’ll bring creative spark, an eye for detail, be a great organiser and driver and know how the world works and our place in it.
