Description:

The University of Warwick is seeking a Head of People Partnering & Advisory to lead a high-performing People Operations team. In this key role, you will manage a team of People Advisors and handle complex people-related issues, ensuring the consistent application of People policies and best practices.

As part of the People Operations team, you will shape the team culture, foster an inclusive and positive environment, and work closely with senior leaders to continuously improve service delivery. You will also play a vital role in promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) throughout People processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the People Advisors team, managing complex case work.
• Act as an escalation point for sensitive and complex issues.
• Drive the consistent and fair application of People policies across the university.
• Work closely with senior leaders in People Operations and Employee Relations to ensure quality service delivery.
• Focus on fostering a positive, inclusive team culture that aligns with the University’s values.
• Promote DEI principles in all aspects of People management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of People operations.

Requirements:

• Strategic and empathetic leader with experience in People Operations, including team management and case management.
• Strong understanding of People policies, recruitment, employee relations, and conditions of employment.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, offering support and performance management.
• Experience in embedding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within People processes.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Collaborative, results-driven leader passionate about improving service excellence and operational effectiveness.
