Description:

Working closely with the Head of Strategic Growth, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the UK marketing and communications strategy to drive brand awareness and revenue growth in alignment with business objectives.

This role will require supporting business leaders and teams across a national business to build and maintain sustainable and profitable client relationships, win new clients, increase brand awareness and visibility, and position the business as a market leader.

You will head up a national team of brand and communications, marketing and bidding professionals to oversee creative campaigns, corporate and internal communications, brand consistency, and work winning.

Within this role you will be part of a global network of marketing professionals and will contribute to the global marketing strategy and plans.

You will be used to dealing at both a strategic and tactical level, with regular exposure to Board and Senior Leaders, and should have experience of implementing marketing strategy and initiatives in a national business, as well as internationally.

Responsibilities

Technical
 

  • Support the leadership team in the delivery of the 2030 strategy and growth plans
  • Develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy to differentiate the brand and increase market share profitably
  • Be accountable for the execution, measurement and success of brand and communications, marketing and bidding activity
  • Oversee development and implementation of bid management strategy, including improvements to bid infrastructure across all stages
  • Lead the UK business’ contribution to global marketing and client development strategy and plans
  • Lead Sales & Marketing team projects including content strategy and management and CRM system development
  • Work with Head of Industry and Service Insight to enhance client insight programme
  • Support business leaders in development of new service and sector specialisms
  • Manage and monitor crisis communications strategy and its implementation
  • Develop national and international brand awareness and reputation
  • Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and wider team.
     

Management
 

  • Lead and develop a department, aligned to the business objectives
  • Coordinate the brand and communications, marketing and bidding teams to ensure delivery of objectives
  • Motivate and manage team performance to build skills, capability and capacity
  • Management of external agencies for digital, communications and other marketing activity
  • Internal and external stakeholder management and engagement
  • Build strong and positive working relationships with stakeholders across the UK and global business
  • Oversee and manage budgets, expenditure, and return-on-investment projections
  • Responsible for implementation of relevant policies and procedures and maintaining a high level of governance
  • Implement processes and reporting systems which capture progress and lead to further improvements
  • Regularly review processes in order to improve quality, efficiency and profitability.

  • Eligible to work in the UK without restriction
