Description:
As the Head of Homeschooling and Tutoring, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing the business. You will oversee various departments, ensuring smooth operations and business growth. The role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage teams, optimise processes, and drive sales and marketing initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Growth & Management:
- Lead and manage the business, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic direction and support to the team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team and Sales team to drive enquiries and enhance brand presence.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing ones.
- Sales Management:
- Manage and expand sales channels, focusing on after-school tutoring, homeschooling, school support, council support, and UHNW/UHNW clients.
- Work closely with the team to improve conversion rates and ensure the delivery of exceptional service.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Ensure that operational systems function efficiently to support business management and growth, in collaboration with the CTO.
- Identify and implement process improvements, with support from the team, to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
- Human Resources Management:
- Lead and support the team, with assistance from the CEO as needed.
- Train and develop the education support team to operate effectively and support business objectives.
- Manage Head Tutor and monitor Pro Tutor KPIs to build a high-performing tutoring team.
- Oversee the finance assistant’s efforts in improving day-to-day accounts management, reducing inefficiencies and freeing up resources for customer service and sales.
- Financial Support:
- Assist the CEO and Finance Assistant in managing financial operations where necessary.
- Ensure financial health and sustainability of the business through prudent financial management and strategic planning.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably within the education or tutoring sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing, with a track record of driving business growth.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
