We are partnering with an award-winning construction consultancy firm that is expanding its presence in Birmingham. As part of this exciting growth, they are looking to appoint a Head of Fire & Fire Consultant to establish and lead a new fire consultancy team.

Role Overview:

As the Head of Fire & Fire Consultant, you will be responsible for:

✅ Team Leadership & Development

• Establish and lead a new fire consultancy team within the Birmingham office.
• Provide direction and support to Departmental Heads and Principal Consultants/Engineers.
• Ensure a high-performing service, maintaining quality and compliance.

✅ Strategic Growth & Client Development

• Support the growth of fire consultancy services in the Midlands.
• Ensure client and staff retention, and expand the client base.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive service excellence.

✅ Operational Management & Compliance

• Determine resource requirements and workforce scheduling.
• Monitor and report on team performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and governance.

✅ Staff Training & Development

• Support the professional growth of team members.
• Ensure all colleagues are equipped with skills and motivation to succeed.

Experience Required:

🎓 Minimum Level 4 Fire Qualification
🏆 Accredited on the National Register of Fire Safety
🔥 Fire-related Degree (Preferred)

Skills & Knowledge Required:

✅ Comprehensive understanding of Fire Consultancy services
✅ Strong leadership and team management abilities
✅ Experience in establishing and developing fire safety teams
✅ Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
