This individual will be key to overseeing the financial operations of the fund. Overall they will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis. Ideally this individual will have a solid background grounded in the PE and ideally venture capital world. They will need a track record of being handson and operating in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Core responsibilities.
- Overseeing the finance function including accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts
- Ongoing monitoring of performance including variance analysis, flash forecasting and financial insight to senior management.
- Conduct due diligence and analysis on potential investments. Support the investment team with relevant financial modelling.
- Provide financial insight to inform the investment process.
- Coordinate annual audits.
- Implement required and relevant internal controls.
- Manage the cash flow process and planning.
- Manage banking relationships.

Required skills and experience.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA Qualified or equivalent
- CFA qualification would be advantageous
- Minimum 8+ years experience in finance with minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role within VC / PE.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Experience working with and creating risk frameworks.
- Proficient with MS Excel and relevant accounting software and financial insight software.
- Exception communication and interpersonal skills are key
- Experienced with implementing and managing a financial controls environment.
- Experienced with identifying and implementing process improvements.
