Head Of Ecommerce

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Ecommerce (12 months FTC) to shape the next stage of our journey. Reporting directly to the Digital Director, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our long-term goals of sustained growth and profitability by being responsible for optimizing our ecommerce experience across our core markets. With a predominant focus on the UK, you will be expected to test, prove and nail new opportunities to diversify our pricing, promotion services and experience mix.

What will you do as a Head of Ecommerce Trade?

  • Ownership, Development and delivery of the annual trading calendar, including developing and testing new trading/promotional activities
  • Web P&L/ budgets – own the web budgeting, working alongside the CDO and Digital Marketing / Merchandising teams to align across key KPIs
  • Work collaboratively with Data, Analytics and Finance teams to develop regular forecasts
  • Ownership of web trading to budget, leading weekly reporting, raising any issues and opportunities with the wider team
  • Provide insights on performance and testing to key stakeholders
  • Cross-functional working and relationship building with Monsoon & Adena teams including building and maintaining a collaborative relationship with internal IT team to drive key developments
  • Stakeholder & 3rd Party Management, including our SEO agency & CRO partners
  • Drive conversion rate through optimisation (AB testing and visual merchandising)
  • Own AOV; driving initiatives through pricing, promotions and cross sell / upsell
  • Manage and lead a team of two direct reports
  • Inspire and motivate the digital team encouraging a culture of continuous improvement, learning and resilience
  • Collaborate with the digital leadership team to develop, lead and implement short, medium and long-term growth initiatives

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Significant experience within ecommerce trading and optimisation
  • Strong analytical skills are essential
  • An understanding of digital channels to drive commercial performance
  • Proven experience of growing an ecommerce or omnichannel Global business
  • Experience with running testing activity
  • Excellent communicator and decision maker
  • Experience with Google Analytics (or similar)
  • Experience with a CMS platform, Salesforce a plus, but not essential
  • Calm under pressure, solutions driven and determined to ‘get things done’
  • Someone who is able to articulate a vision and take the team on the journey as well as inspiring internal support as required to meet shared goals
  • Experience building and leading a team
  • Strong attention to detail
