Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Data to drive the implementation of the company’s Data Strategy, ensuring that data is leveraged to enhance customer service and foster continuous improvement. This role reports directly to the CTO and plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's data-driven future.
The role is based in Hertfordshire with a hybrid working model, requiring attendance in the office twice a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the company’s data strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks and policies
- Oversee the creation of insightful dashboards to support decision-making
- Manage key data migrations and ensure smooth transitions between systems
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and influence corporate strategy
- Design and manage data platform architecture and data warehousing
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the data team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
Essential Requirements:
- Strong leadership and management experience in data-related roles
- Proven expertise in data governance, system reporting, and data warehousing
- Ability to oversee dashboard development and ensure actionable insights
- Experience in managing data migrations and policy implementations
- Strong stakeholder management skills, working effectively with senior executives
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
