Head Of Content & Influencer

 

Description:

The UK Head of Influencer & Content will be a hands-on leader and social media expert, as well as have an ability to build first-class relationships with the larger social vendors, in particular with Meta & TikTok as well as hold relationships with key content & creative partners, and talent agencies. The role is split into 4 parts:

1. Product development – building a best class and industry defining influencer & content product, building clear capabilities that span the breadth of content, developing our POV, best practice and identifying emerging opportunities to drive our agenda of high performance and responsible for broader agency education.
2. Commercial – Leading new business for Influencer & Content, playing an active role in both new business and expanding existing client relationships. Develop robust commercial models and strategic partnerships that support campaign delivery whilst balancing revenue growth, margin and resource for the agency.
3. Strategic Leadership – working with our largest clients to drive creatively led strategies and award worthy work. As a trusted advisor and digital media expert you are responsible for helping solve our client’s marketing challenges and driving growth for their business through creative influencer & content strategies as well as inspiring the team to build compelling responses to client briefs.
4. Team leadership – you will be responsible for leading, motivating and coaching the influencer team, directly managing and ultimately accountable for inspiring this team to deliver best in class work whilst also effectively manage resourcing in line with revenue! Outside of your direct reports, collaborating with peers and different departments will be critical for your success!

What this job is:

  • Be part of a fast-growing agency offering best-in-class Influencer & Content services for clients in the UK – lead new business pitches, onboard large scale clients, develop cutting edge strategies and support the agency’s Influencer product development.
  • Strategic and Tactical – you will be responsible for leading and evolving our Influencer & Content strategy and execution, collaborating with other markets, and governing commercial aspects of the UK Influencer & Content business.
  • Storyteller – You’ll be responsible not only for ensuring we deliver best-in-class Influencer & Content campaigns but also for building our narrative around that service that resonates just as strongly with client executives as it does with subject matter experts.
  • Innovative – As the social landscape continues to evolve, you’ll ensure our approach evolves with it, identifying emerging trends and opportunities to leverage new social platforms and partnerships to drive tangible business outcomes for our clients.
  • Industry – Drive thought leadership agenda and develop partnerships with major social platforms in the UK including, but not limited to – Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Snap, TikTok, and Twitter as well as key content partners and talent agencies.

  • Building a team from scratch – We have a team of passionate, brilliant Influencer & Content team members across a range of experience levels. You will be responsible for unlocking opportunities for them to develop further whilst also expanding our offering into broader untapped content territories.
  • Behind the scenes – You’ll be talking to clients, prospects, other leaders within Meta, TikTok, and the industry as a whole via thought leadership.
  • Box ticking – You’ll be personally driving the Influencer & Content product, setting and executing your own agenda and business plan and tracking value creation within the agency .
