Head Of Compliance Advice

You’ll be managing a high calibre Compliance Advice team of 4, providing direction and leadership, mentoring and development., helping ensure efficient and effective delivery of practical, clear and well-balanced compliance advice, guidance and challenge to the 1st line of defence.

You’ll develop strong relationships with key business areas to embed compliance and conduct risk management frameworks, policies, processes and procedures into the firm’s DNA. You’ll also represent Compliance on key business and regulatory projects and initiatives, providing specialist technical conduct-related interpretation, advice and challenge.

You’ll already have experience of managing a Compliance team within a Financial Services environment (we’re not hung up on exactly what sector of FS your experience is in) and will have a proven track record of successful senior stakeholder management.

Previous Compliance Advisory experience is essential, whether in a dedicated Advisory role or as part of a wider remit. You’ll also have strong knowledge of the FCA’s Consumer Duty requirements, whilst any FinTech experience would be advantageous (but is by no means essential).
