Description:
Reporting directly to the Commercial Organization, the Head of Central Marketing is responsible for leading and driving marketing globally at Elekta. Working with regional marketing and central marketing along with product marketing reporting to the Business Lines (BL), you will be responsible for ensuring Elekta moves forward with a single brand and aligned marketing strategy.
Reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer, the Head of Central Marketing will contribute to the overall strategy by being a part of the Commercial Leadership team by collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing plans that leverage multiple strategic plans and teams, driving Elekta forward in modern marketing approaches and market development.
The right stuff
Develop deep qualitative and quantitative insights about the market needs, wants and performance of customers.
Forecast and anticipate keys to our success, aligning strategy execution across all geographies and driving marketing innovation.
Work closely with Head of Sales & Marketing in the business lines as well as the regions to define, develop & execute the global marketing plan across Elekta to achieve organizational synergies.
Oversee the tracking of our global market share and market intelligence to enable global product marketing and regional marketing.
Create and execute marketing strategies that drive growth, retention, and revenue for Elekta.
Responsible for Elekta's value proposition and marketing operations, ensures smooth, quick, and efficient coordination with regional and product marketing.
Drive Elekta around, brand, corporate image, portfolio, and marketing excellence
Accountable for ensuring the voice of the customer feeds back through the regional marketing team to BL marketing teams, bringing solutions to be implemented.
Deliver central governance and framework allowing for an Elekta led marketing approach across regions and BLs.
Share of voice management and resources to allow Elekta to represent externally based on the corporate strategy set by the Executive Committee
Lead marketing leaders from all functions to ensure successful marketing strategies globally.
Ensure the correct skills and resources are in place and retained within the teams with continual development a focus.
Demonstrate effective leadership behaviours and ensure that all direct reports have clear guidance on expectations on their behaviours in their roles.
Ensure that regular performance and coaching meeting take place with all direct reports and where necessary ensure that any corrective actions are commenced.
Manage the selection, termination, development, measurement, motivation, and compensation of direct reporting employees.
Ensure that employee productivity and morale are at high levels.
Ensure through effective management of direct reports, all employees have a meaningful annual performance planning and evaluation meeting where development activities are discussed, documented and acted upon within a timely manner in line with Elekta Group policies.
Collaborate and promote a culture of collaboration with colleagues both inside and outside of the Commercial organisation, thus ensuring the success of Elekta and the function.
Maintain appropriate communications and effective working relationships between the various functional areas within Product Marketing and the Commercial organisation.

What you bring
A strategic mindset with strong business acumen and commercial outlook.
Bachelor’s Degree (clinical or business oriented) or equivalent knowledge acquired through business experience.
Successful sales, marketing, and negotiation experience. Capital medical equipment sales and marketing experience is highly meritorious.
Solid knowledge and experience of the medical devices industry, experience in Radiation Oncology & Neuroscience clinical environment is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Skilled speaker and representative in social contacts.
Results oriented, data driven, operative with excellent analytical skills.
Extensive leadership experience leading complex global organisation, with a track record of
leading complex projects to successful completion within the Healthcare Industry
Proven strategic vision and ability to think globally and innovatively about the business and portfolio.
Customer-centric mindset with an ability to translate customer issues/needs into profitable solutions.
Highly adaptable and demonstrable track record of operating highly effectively in culturally diverse environments.
Ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
Deep expertise in market and customer insights, product commercialisation and branding
Self-sufficiency to identify solutions and strategic direction. Persistent and persuasive behaviour to own and drive cross-functional collaboration.
