About Our Client: Our client is a leading media organization, at the forefront of change in the industry. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Change to join their team.
Team Structure: The Head of Business Change will play a pivotal role within our client's Transformation Operations function. Reporting directly to the Transformation Operations Director, and ultimately to the Group CFO/COO, this position involves engaging with leadership roles throughout the organization.
Main Purpose of the Role: In the face of evolving media consumption and advertising trends, our client is undergoing significant transformation. This role is instrumental in supporting and driving their transformation agenda, overseeing high-value transformation programs, and building and sustaining their internal change management capability. As a part of our client's high-performing team, you will be responsible for implementing their transformation initiatives under the guidance of the Management Board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead critical transformation priorities from end to end, including operating model design, roadmap planning, budgeting support, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify emerging transformation priorities across the business.
- Develop and maintain our client's transformation roadmap in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Build and nurture an internal change management capability, defining strategies, recruiting and developing talent, and integrating change management effectively across programs.
- Manage change at a transformation portfolio level, ensuring alignment and coherence across programs.
- Provide thought leadership and best practices in transformation and change management, advising senior stakeholders.
- Effectively manage a complex stakeholder environment, including C-suite executives.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and issues impacting the success of transformation and change management.
Key Criteria:
- 8+ years of successful leadership in delivering complex transformation and change management programs, preferably within a management consultancy.
- Proven ability to take ownership and deliver results in challenging environments.
- Formal change management training and recognized accreditation.
- Extensive knowledge of change management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing change management teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling timely decisions under pressure.
- Previous experience working closely with senior leaders and executives.
- Proficiency in project management.
- Media industry experience is preferred.
