Guidance Specialist

Pension Wise, a free and impartial government service, is seeking new Pension Wise Guidance Specialists to deliver guidance appointments over the phone and face to face. The role involves providing citizens with essential and impartial advice on their defined contribution pension options, helping them understand how to get the best value out of their pensions. As a member of the team, you will make a significant difference in people's lives by offering crucial guidance, with over 94% customer satisfaction from past users.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver guidance on pension options and choices, providing accurate and relevant information.
• Assist customers in understanding their pension arrangements (both occupational and personal) and retirement issues.
• Provide face-to-face and telephone guidance appointments.
• Stay updated on pension law, practice, and broader retirement issues.

Contract and Hours:

• Fixed-term contract until March 2026, with the possibility of extension.
• Up to 37 hours per week, hybrid working (Stafford, Cannock, Rugeley, Stone, and Codsall).
• Must be available to start on 5th March and attend a 3-week full-time induction starting 10th March 2025.
