Growth Account Director

 

Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join IRIS London in our Data, CRM & Performance Marketing team – Data Driven & Performance or DDP for short. DDP is a key growth driver for Iris and the Growth Account Director will play a key role in helping us to deliver on our ambitious growth targets. You will work closely with the DDP Managing Director as well as the Marketing team to pipeline opportunities, nurture leads and work with the wider team to craft proposals that convert leads into clients. This role will also support growth on existing clients, working with the established client leaders to build and sell value-additive solutions to our broad client base.

For clarity – you will work with our Marketing team but this is very much a Sales role.

Responsibilities

The role reports directly to the DDP Managing Director and will work closely with the specialists to deliver aggressive DDP growth.

Core Responsibilities Will Include
 

  • Convert a pipeline of Performance Marketing, Data & CRM opportunities - from initial conversation, to lead, to proposal and convert to active client
  • When required, support Marketing with building a pipeline of opportunities
  • Be accountable to delivering on measurable commercial outcomes
  • Support our marketing team with sales-focused initiatives to fill the pipeline
  • Own our outbound prospecting function, taking our Productised Point solutions out to market as part of our Land & Expand strategy
  • Work with the DDP MD to iterate the DDP offering and Go To Market
  • Work with the broader Iris agency to further integrate the DDP offering
  • Support Client Leaders to grow existing clients by up and cross selling DDP Some of the brands we work with that are focus for DDP services are adidas, Beiersdorf, Alcon & BRITA.
     

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be experienced, exceptionally motivated and dependable. Due to the exciting variation in the role, the individual will be confident and skilled at dealing with multiple initiatives, thriving on multi-tasking and taking ownership of growing DDP income by c.£1m.

Required Skills
 

  • Demonstrable experience in selling Performance Marketing & Data services
  • Have demonstrably delivered on and exceeded ambitious sales targets
  • Experience with outbound sales
  • Consultative selling
  • High levels of expertise in Performance Marketing – Search, Paid Social,Display
  • Experience in Measurement – MTA, MMM, Econometrics based solutions – a plus
  • Experience working in an agency environment
  • Ideally has a network of relevant prior clients, prospects and partners that can be leveraged to meet our growth objective
  • Skilled at creating presentations & proposal with credible story telling capabilities
  • Understanding the world of data, the value of data insights and using to design customer journeys and unique customer
