Group Financial Controller

Description:

A rapidly growing technology and business services company, operating in the life sciences sector, is recruiting a Group Financial Controller, reporting to the CFO. The business have recently successfully completed a funding round with a well-known VC investment firm. This is high profile and critical role. You will lead the core finance and accounting team and take responsibility for all financial controls and processes.

The role has full ownership of financial reporting and finance operations (AP / AR / credit control etc). You will work closely with colleagues in FP&A and the CFO to deliver month end, generate the monthly management reporting pack and update the budget. Due to the stage of the business, having strong external relationships with bankers, lenders, and investors will be crucial. You will take full ownership of all banking and treasury issues. You will lead the audit, statutory accounting processes and oversee balance sheet management.
