Key Responsibilities

What’s in it for you?

This is a great opportunity to work as a Graduate Software Engineer in a dynamic team responsible for building the high-quality Sage products.

You will be required to contribute to building, enhancing, and maintaining software solutions to enable Sage’s business plans and long-term objectives using the identified architecture. You will also be involved in the selection, set-up and maintenance of CI/CD tooling or writing and maintaining bespoke build/deploy scripts.

Throughout the 2-year Graduate programme and your career at Sage, we want you to be enthusiastic about your personal development, and continuously learn new things to strive for excellence. We expect a lot from our Graduates and will encourage you to bring innovative ideas to add real value for our customers, in an environment where ambition for future progression is rewarded.

You’ll also be involved in

  • Creating and maintaining documentation for all deliverables to describe logic, coding/configuration, testing and changes.

  • Contributing to the process of documenting technical requirements for data, workflow, and interfaces with other systems and/or services.

  • Keeping up to date with relevant technology areas and participating in your learning sessions.

  • What are we looking for?

You’ll need to be a Graduate, and whilst we’re open to different degree disciplines, these roles are ideal for Computer Science graduates (or similar). Any experience within DevOps would be advantageous.

    Alongside this, you’ll also be,

  •
  • Able to demonstrate a passion for tech, with skills to match.

  • A keen eye for detail and an inquisitive mind to help problem solve.

  • You’ll be resilient and determined, able to work in a fast paced, changing environment.

  • As part of a global business, you’ll be an effective communicator, able to collaborate with people from across the world.

  •
  • These roles are based in Winnersh. You’ll be in the office at least 2 days a week so will need to live in (or be willing to relocate to) an easily commutable distance.
