Graduate Civil Engineer

As a Graduate Civil Engineer within our Transmission & Distribution team, you will play a crucial role in developing and expanding energy networks to ensure energy accessibility and efficiency. With the UK’s push toward Net Zero, the demand for sustainable energy infrastructure is increasing, and you will contribute to the integration of clean energy sources and the resilience of existing networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on large-scale investment plans aimed at expanding and improving energy networks to meet Net Zero targets.

• Focus on integrating clean energy sources and ensuring the resilience of energy systems.

• Contribute to subsea HVDC connections and renewable energy exports between countries.

• Collaborate with experts in the field, gaining exposure to solving current industry challenges.

Candidate Specification:

• Degree requirements: A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Engineering Science with a civil specialism, obtained no earlier than 2023.

• Less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements).

• Ability to demonstrate interest in the role through relevant experience or coursework.
