Goods In Inspector

Our Inspection and Goods In department is great place to work, we are a close unit and everyone knows each other’s strengths, we are all everyone is approachable and more than willing to give up their time to help everyone when needed.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:
 

• Inspect all incoming goods to ensure quality, part numbers and quantity matches documentation
• Ensuring that Engine parts, materials, and equipment, which pass through his/her control, are inspected, and handled in accordance with company operating standards
• Communicating with vendors, engineering & various other departments
• Final sign off inspection of components prior to final build
• Inspect and relaunched items for further repair work
• Update and maintained a tracker documentation system
   

To succeed in this role, you will need:
 

• Minimum NC Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), preferably HNC Mech. Eng.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within related industry
• Previous experience in goods in Inspection
• Working knowledge of industrial gas turbines and/or power turbines and associated equipment (preferred)
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and communicate illustrated parts catalogues
• Flexible approach, team player and ability to work independently
• Computer literate, a good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a calm manner
• Approachable, calm, and good communication skills
