Description:
As a key member of the Procurement Leadership team, reporting into the VP Procurement you will be a central figure in building organisational capability and functional excellence to support growth. You will act as a Business Partner to senior internal customers and leaders across the business and understanding their business drivers and needs in the context of the company strategy.
Global Procurement Lead Travel, Meetings & Cards role profile:-
- Create and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies for travel and meetings with clear and detailed 3-year execution plans to deliver value.
- Lead executive level supplier relationships with key suppliers to deliver value, innovation, drive performance and ESG targets.
- Making significant contributions to the wider Procurement agenda, actively participating in the Global Procurement Steering Group and Procurement Leadership Team.
- Being a credible and insightful manager to your experienced Procurement team, coaching best-practice strategic sourcing, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship management SRM.
- Influence key stakeholders and business partners to support strategy development, endorse recommended strategies, support execution and agree how benefit delivery will be budgeted.
- Playing a key role in the implementation of the Firm’s new P2P tool (Ariba) and wider Procurement transformation.
Required candidate background:-
- Track record of value delivery through the development of effective Category Strategy and the application of strategic sourcing methodology across air, hotel, card and meetings .
- Track record of successfully leading teams of experienced Procurement professionals at a strategic level is essential.
- Degree & MCIPS qualifications (preferred not essential).
