Global Data Solutions Director

PHD Global has an exciting opportunity for a talented media data expert, with experience scaling data solutions across complex, multi-market digital media activations. This leadership role is being opened as we roll out a new global operating model for one of our prestige Omnicom clients’, Diageo.

We are seeking an accomplished data lead to run our media data transformation initiatives globally. Defining the ‘Diageo way’ to activating data within media. This individual will champion a comprehensive understanding of programmatic and social advertising best practice, alongside the ability to design data solutions that enhance performance and the consumer experience within media.

Role

Collaborating with the Global Digital Operations Director on the governance practice to ensure the appropriate sequencing (i.e gate process) and application consistency, this role is firmly focused on implementing and accelerating the use of data within media:
 

• Partner with Diageo’s global Connected Data Engine team to identify the media opportunity to scale 1P data products. Influencing the pipeline and design of data solutions. Including the global roll out of a CDP for consumer data media activation and custom bidding solutions for social and programmatic.
• Collaborate with Diageo data privacy to unlock new 3P and 2P data opportunities, documenting progress / case studies and ensuring transparency in data compliance.
• Lead the global media data steer co in partnership with Diageo Global Data team and OMG Data Innovation team. Partner with specialist services such as Dynamic Content, CRM and third-party consultants to set an enablement roadmap for scaled data driven media.
• Work with media platform partners, Diageo’s data leadership and Annalect to formalise Diageo’s strategy to signal lost within biddable activation. Operationalising solutions such as The Trade Desk’s United ID 2.0 and Meta’s conversions API.
