Hotel du Vin in Exeter is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead its prestigious hotel operations. Located in a historic former Eye Infirmary, our hotel offers 59 individually designed rooms, a spa, swimming pool, terrace, library, lounge, bar & bistro, and gardens, providing a unique guest experience.

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for:
✔ Overseeing all hotel operations to ensure exceptional service and a highly profitable business
✔ Leading and motivating teams, ensuring a culture of training, development, and excellence
✔ Driving brand strategy to establish Hotel du Vin as a preferred employer and destination
✔ Maximizing revenue opportunities through strategic planning and operations management
✔ Ensuring guest satisfaction by maintaining high brand standards and a welcoming atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day management of all departments, ensuring smooth hotel operations
• Revenue & Profit Management: Drive financial performance by optimizing room occupancy, food & beverage sales, and guest experience
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and staff to ensure a high-performance culture
• Guest Experience: Maintain exceptional customer service standards while ensuring a luxurious guest experience
• Brand Strategy & Competitive Edge: Position Hotel du Vin as the top choice for dining, accommodation, and hospitality in Exeter
