Description:
We are looking for a Functional Presales Specialist to join the team and play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our hospital software SaaS platform and prospective customers. You will work closely with the sales team, product managers, and implementation consultants to understand customer needs, deliver impactful demos, and provide technical guidance during the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement & Discovery
· Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer pain points, workflows, and technical requirements in hospitals and healthcare settings.
· Conduct discovery sessions to map customer needs to product capabilities.
· Advise on best practices for cloud-based healthcare software adoption, data security, and interoperability.
2. Solution Demonstrations & Proof of Concept (PoC)
· Deliver engaging product demonstrations tailored to the specific challenges faced by hospitals and healthcare institutions.
· Develop and present Proof of Concept (PoC) solutions, showcasing the system’s Unique Selling Point and its ability to integrate with other hospital IT systems.
· Build custom demo environments to highlight key use cases.
3. Technical Consultation & Sales Support
· Act as a trusted advisor to prospects, explaining the technical and functional capabilities of our SaaS solution.
· Assist in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and security assessments.
· Work closely with sales teams to overcome objections and communicate ROI.
4. Collaboration & Continuous Learning
· Work alongside product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence roadmap decisions.
· Stay up to date with SaaS trends, healthcare regulations, and ecosystem developments to provide cutting-edge insights to prospects.
· Conduct training sessions for internal teams on product positioning, features, and competitive advantages.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical & Industry Expertise
✔ 3+ years of experience in a technical presale, solution consulting, or solution engineering role, preferably in healthcare SaaS.
✔ Strong understanding of hospital workflows, healthcare IT systems, and compliance requirements.
✔ Experience in endoscopy, sterilisation or operating room software needs and requirements in the context of NHS or private hospitals
✔ Familiarity with sales pipeline management and customer engagement techniques.
