Front End Developer

Description:

We are looking for a front-end developer to join our Central Digital Solution team. You will work with designers, developers, data scientists and technical colleagues from across the region to develop compelling new web solutions, deployed through our industry leading Moata platform.

Overview of role
The immediate team embodies Mott MacDonald’s domain x digital capability with data scientists working closely alongside developers, engineers, asset management specialists, environmentalists, and many other domain experts.

• Develop and maintain user interfaces using React and other web technologies.
• Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products.
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code that follows best practices and standards.
• Optimise web applications for performance, accessibility, and usability.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across browsers and devices.
• Develop modular templates that support rapid prototyping and testing of new solutions.

Essential

• At least 2 years of experience as a front end developer using React.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development tools.
• Familiar with RESTful APIs, state management, and routing.
• Experience with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap, Material UI, or Ant Design.
• Knowledge of web development tools such as Webpack, Babel, or NPM.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
