French Speaking Technical Service Manager

 

Description:

As a French-speaking Technical Service Manager specializing in Coatings, you will be a key member of our client’s Technical Service team. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a technical expert, providing support to existing customers while collaborating closely with the Sales team to understand and address customer needs. While a significant portion of your role will involve expanding current accounts, you will not be expected to pitch new business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the technical strategy to support the implementation of growth plans and objectives within the coatings industry segment.
  • Provide direct technical support to customers and internal contacts.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and capitalize on opportunities for account growth.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product developments, and technological advancements.

 

Requirements:

  • Native-level fluency in French is essential.
  • Expertise in Polymers with a strong background in Coatings.
  • Approximately 4 years of experience in a Technical role focused on Coatings.
  • A degree/background in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
