Freelance Tour Guide

Description:

As a Freelance Tour Guide, you will be responsible for preparing audio scripts, images and corresponding routes for tours on our website. You will also be accountable for ensuring the quality of the experience and editing the recorded audio scripts. This is a freelance remote contract role, meaning you can work from anywhere at any time, but we do not offer a salary. The way we work is, when your tour is ready to sell, we take a commission every time we sell a tour.

What You'll Do

• Create engaging and informative self-guided tours of and around the Cotswolds District, showcasing your unique perspective and insights (focus only on the topics you are an expert or very knowledgeable!).
• Utilize our user-friendly platform to upload your tour content, which can include text, audio, images, videos, links and route maps.
• Share the hidden gems, local favourites, and your personal insights that only a true local would know (it can be music, history, architecture, sports, food, or other; it's completely up to you!).
• Work flexibly - you're in control of your schedule and the content you create.

Who You Are

• Passionate about the Cotswolds, its culture, history, and hidden spots.
• Excellent storytelling skills and the ability to engage a diverse audience.
• Strong knowledge of local areas, landmarks, and lesser-known attractions in the area.
• Experience in tour guiding, content creation, or a related field is a plus, but not necessary.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
