Freelance End Point Assessor

Description:

NOCN Group is seeking a freelance End Point Assessor/IQA with expertise as an Engineering Surveyor/Inspector to conduct assessments for the Engineer Surveyor apprenticeship Standard. This role requires travel to sites and ensures independent, high-quality End Point Assessments in line with NOCN’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Conduct End Point Assessments using Multiple Choice Tests, Observations with Questioning, and Professional Interviews.
✔ Evaluate apprentices against Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours (KSBs).
✔ Prepare assessment reports and upload them per NOCN’s service level agreements.
✔ Build a quick rapport with apprentices to facilitate smooth assessments.
✔ Keep up to date with industry CPD and engineering inspection practices.
✔ Represent NOCN professionally during on-site assessments.
✔ Adhere to GDPR compliance and ensure data security.
✔ Moderate assessments conducted by other assessors following quality assurance guidelines.

Candidate Requirements:

✔ Recent and significant experience as an Engineer Inspector/Surveyor (within the last 3 years).
✔ Level 3 Assessor Qualification (or equivalent).
✔ Demonstrated experience in engineering inspections.
✔ CPD records relevant to engineering and assessment.
✔ Experience in one or more of the following:

• LOLER Inspector

• Crane Inspector

• LEV Inspector

• Power Press Inspector

• Competent Person

• Statutory Inspector

• Electrical Inspector
