Our mission is to equip our teams with the right tools and support, enabling them to work efficiently and securely, in line with our security protocols and corporate standards.

As part of the Corporate Applications Team, you'll play a vital role in supporting and developing a wide array of business applications and services used across the entire organisation, helping to drive innovation and operational excellence at the Met Office.

Your key duties

• Analyse current processes and identify opportunities to optimise them.
• Help to evaluate and establish requirements for the implementation of changes.
• Proactively monitor services for issues and provide prompt response to incidents.
• Carry out maintenance tasks on infrastructure and complete requests from the organisation.
• Design, code, test and document simple programs or scripts under the direction of others.
