Financial Controller

Description:

Reporting to the COO you will be responsible for ensuring the Finance function can scale through in line with business growth and evolve and lead the team accordingly. You will be responsible for the day to day reporting and accounting functions of company finance, including: group reporting, budgeting and forecasting, improving the control environment, streamlining and updating financial policies, procedures and systems, supervising the preparation of all statutory and tax accounts including our US subsidiary.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Ambitious, entrepreneurial, pragmatic, commercial, highly analytical
• ICAEW or equivalent qualification with 2 years+ PQE
• Robust in technical & consolidation accounting, financial management & control
• Able to prioritise workload, meet deadlines in a growing SME environment
• Advanced excel & knowledge of general ledgers/ accounting packages
• Clear communicator, able to build stakeholder relationships
