Financial Controller

Partner Financial are collaborating with a high growth FMCG organisation looking for a Financial Controller to join their growing team. The company is rapidly expanding, innovative, and ethically driven enterprise that takes pride in the quality of their products.

Reporting directly into the CFO, the role offers the opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders across the business, and is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and confident individual looking to develop their career in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of the financial control and transactional efficiency of the business while leading the Finance Team.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading the Finance Team, this includes overseeing the preparation of monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, and overseeing audit completion
• Working closely with the Sales and Supply teams to establish and maintain appropriate reporting structures and controls
• Owning the budgeting process, meticulously reviewing variances and taking necessary actions, while collaborating with stakeholders across the business
• Enhance financial controls and systems, providing meticulous financial oversight to ensure the highest standards of regulatory compliance in the organization
• Ensuring control over cash and working capital throughout the business, through an accurate and timely cash-flow reporting

The ideal candidate will be:

• A Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Previous experience within FMCG is highly advantageous
• An inquisitive mind-set that continuously challenges and seeks process improvement
• Experience managing and developing a high performing team
• Able to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellence
