Financial Accountant

Description:

Reporting in to the Senior Financial Manager you will ensure your main duties will include financial reporting, calculating income and expenditure, maintaining accurate information on the general ledger, month end procedures, processing journals, variance analysis, maintaining fixed assets schedules and monthly balance sheet reconciliations. You will also be responsible for preparing statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS, development of treasury strategies, managing auditor queries and maintaining financial systems across the organisation.

What you will need to succeed in this Financial Accountant role

Ideally ACCA / ACA qualified

SORP / Charities background

Strong stakeholder management experience

Month end, statutory accounting experience

Good excel skills including, data manipulation/extraction

Well organised, self motivated and able to meet deadlines
