Financial Accountant

A high-profile FTSE 100 business is recruiting a Financial Accountant. You will be a motivated, technical, and numerate qualified accountant who wants to become an important member of a FTSE 100 Financial Reporting team. This role will develop your skills in stakeholder management, business analysis and effective decision-making. You will own and deliver in several areas across group reporting and be involved in various ad-hoc projects around transactions and restructuring. You will join the team, led by the Group Finance Director, responsible for preparing internal and external Group results, statutory and management reporting, and board reports. This role is an excellent platform to build your career in a blue-chip organisation and move quickly into more senior roles in the future.

Specifically, you will be responsible for the accounting and reporting of the Group’s numbers; areas of the Group consolidation; reviews of actual performance vs budget/forecast working alongside colleagues in commercial finance and FP&A; part of the team responsible for delivery of the preliminary announcement, Financial Statements and Annual Report notes; and involved in various ad hoc projects around transactions and other projects. In this role you will work closely with other departments and external advisors.
