This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a group that seeks to build a diversified portfolio of high-potential beauty and wellness brands. The Finance Manager will support the CFO in the day-to-day running of the finance department whilst liaising with the external accountants.
The ideal Finance Manager will be a fully qualified accountant and ready to hit the ground running.
Job Description
- Support the CFO streamlining and implementing business controls and financial management processes across all areas.
- Supervise financial administration, working closely with 3rd party accounting team, encompassing creditor and debtor management, stock and invoicing across all brands.
- Lead the month-end process from start to finish and help the FD producing a full set of management accounts on a monthly basis, including commentary and variance analysis.
- Support the CFO producing monthly performance packs for the Board and shareholders.
- Manage daily and weekly operating cash flow reporting, as well as cash flow forecasts and payment runs.
- Ensure compliance with statutory tax obligations, work with our third-party advisors to ensure timely and accurate reporting across indirect and direct tax.
- Support the CFO overseeing the production by our 3rd party accountants of the group’s annual financial statements and ensure that they are signed and filed to meet Investor, bank and regulatory filing deadlines.
- Own the group monthly consolidation to ensure the group management accounts are produced on a timely basis and distributed to key stakeholders.
- Work with the CFO and the fund administrator firm to ensure that they are meeting all compliance and regulatory commitments across the Ventures portfolio.
- Support the CFO creating and rolling out a Group Finance Manual including written financial procedures within the Brands and Ventures as part of the standardisation of systems, processes and controls across the group.
The Ideal Candidate
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA).
- Financial technical knowledge covering all areas of Finance.
- A good understanding of commercial aspects.
- Good communicator, with an ability to influence both internally and externally.
- Able to hit the ground running and operate at great pace.
