Finance Manager

 

Description:

The agency has experienced a recent re-structure and they are looking to bolster their finance team with an ACA qualified candidate who has experience in industry. The role will be integral to both maintaining financial health and steering strategic decision-making. You will be tasked with producing accurate and timely financial reports, collaborating across departments to develop budgets, conducting cost analyses, and offering valuable insights into financial performance. As a Finance Manager, your responsibilities will also extend to overseeing month-end close processes, managing cash flow and improvements of systems and processes.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Produce accurate and timely financial reports and in-depth analysis and insights
  • Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary on financial performance
  • Business partner with department heads and produce budgets and cost analyses
  • Monitor cash flow projections
  • Assess and improve internal systems and processes
  • Provide market insights and best practises, implement these accordingly
  • Work with external audit partners ensuring smooth and efficient process
  • Manage audit issues and queries and improve existing financial controls
  • Take ownership of P&Ls for three different business divisions, managing cashflow and making commercial recommendations

 

Required experience:

 

  • ACA qualified
  • 1 year in industry
  • Strong communication skills & able to influence decision making
  • Commercial mindset & technical strong
