Finance Director

Description:

As the Finance Director, you will report to the CFO and lead the finance function. You will be leading the function and managing a sizeable team. This is a broad role and you will be delivering the accounting and controls but also commercial finance across both, financial planning and analysis as well as business partnering with the CFO and CEO to drive performance and profitability. This will be a varied role where you will be involved in all of the strategy, business cases and investment appraisals. This role will have significant exposure and interaction to non-finance with you business partnering them around decision support and business insight.

The successful candidate for the Finance Director role must be a qualified accountant. You will have the ability to operate in a fast paced and changing environment. You will combine this with a positive and innovative attitude, constantly looking to improve processes and drive performance. You will demonstrate the ability to operate commercially and work with board members. Our client is looking for someone ideally with a consumer background but that is not essential: someone from a consumer, retail, hospitality, ecommerce or technology background would be advantageous. This role would happily consider a no.2 stepping up or an existing Finance Director looking for their next move.
