Field Service Engineer

 

Description:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the meticulous service and maintenance of a wide variety of pumps and other rotating equipment. Your role will involve planned maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installing, and providing on-site training to our customers. This role will be split between visiting customer site or completing repairs in our workshop. We are looking for a professional, competent, and socially adept individual who can work both independently and collaboratively with in our team.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Conduct service and maintenance of the company's products, with a specialisation in pumps.
  • Execute planned maintenance in a timely manner.
  • Provide on-site and workshop-based installation and validation services.
  • Perform troubleshooting, service, and repair activities, addressing technical issues promptly and effectively.
  • Deliver on-site training sessions to customers on product usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, representing the company with professionalism and a positive attitude.
     

Qualifications
 

  • Apprentice trained or time served 5+ years within the pump industry
  • Minimum level 3 City and Guilds
  • 18th Edition
  • UK Driving License
  • Strong knowledge of pumps and rotating equipment
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
