Description:
We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer for a leading player in the electronics sector who specialize in the development and manufacturing of cutting-edge test and measurement equipment. This is a permanent role based in the UK offering generous compensation and a company car as part of the package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field service visits for installation, maintenance, and repair of test and measurement equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Perform equipment commissioning and provide comprehensive training to clients on usage and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including reports, service records, and customer communications.
- Provide remote technical support and assistance to customers as required.
Requirements:
- 2/3+ years of professional experience in field service engineering or commissioning.
- Background in electrical/electronic engineering or mechatronics.
- Knowledge of in-circuit, functional, and/or automated test technologies is advantageous.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- UK-based with willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
