Event Planner

 

Description:

My client is one of London’s leading events catering companies, operating events across museums, palaces and galleries to blank canvases and warehouse spaces. We are looking for an Event Planner to be based at one of their exclusive sites, working closely with the client to plan their event and liaising with operations and venue teams to ensure smooth handover and execution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Establish the clients’ needs and present bespoke event solutions.
  • Be point of call for clients during their event planning process.
  • Conducting tastings and site visits with clients.
  • Liaising with suppliers.
  • Produce detailed event functions sheets for the kitchen and operations teams.
  • Communicating all relevant information to other departments during the pre-event meetings

 

Skills and Experience:

  •  
  • Experience working for an event caterer or Venue.
  • Experience designing events including creative concepts
  • Strong organisation skills and great attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of event logistics and technical production
  • Ability to commit to a flexible work pattern including occasional weekend work.
