Description:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Events Coordinator to join our team. This part-time role will involve various responsibilities related to event planning and coordination, requiring strong organisational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Proposals: Develop and present comprehensive event proposals, including costs and creative concepts tailored to client needs.
- Research & Development: Conduct research for new business channels and stay updated with industry trends to enhance our service offerings.
- Supplier Liaison: Communicate effectively with event suppliers to ensure seamless integration of services and quality assurance.
- Wedding Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of weddings, ensuring all details are executed according to the client’s vision.
- On-the-Day Coordination: Oversee events on the day, managing logistics and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Guestlist Management: Organise and manage guestlists to ensure accurate tracking of attendees.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after events to maintain strong client relationships.
- Third-Party Website Management: Manage third-party websites and listings to ensure accurate representation of services and maximise visibility.
- Event Promotion: Attend wedding fairs and tradeshows to proactively promote and sell the company’s event services to potential clients.
Qualifications:
- No degree required, but experience within events, hospitality, an interest in social media is ideal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Previous experience in event planning, marketing, or administrative roles is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
